There will be placed signs with large red X’es on the two containers that are not allowed to be used.

We’re thrilled to announce an exciting addition to our hostel experience – brand new staff t-shirts! As we continue to grow and evolve, we believe it’s essential to enhance our professional image while maintaining a sense of unity among our team members.

Here’s why we’re doing it:

• Professionalism and unity: While we’ve always celebrated individuality, we also understand the importance of presenting a cohesive image to our guests. By wearing our new staff t-shirts, we not only project professionalism but also foster a sense of unity and teamwork.
• Guest recognition: Our guests rely on our staff for assistance, guidance, and a warm welcome. By donning our distinct staff t-shirts, it becomes easier for guests to identify members of our team, ensuring they receive the attention and support they deserve throughout their stay.
• Protecting your personal wardrobe: We recognize that many of you have been accustomed to wearing your own clothes while on duty. However, by providing dedicated staff t-shirts, we aim to protect your personal wardrobe from potential damage or wear and tear that may occur during your shifts.

To ensure the effectiveness of this initiative, we kindly request the following:

• Wearing the staff t-shirt: Please wear your staff t-shirt proudly during your shifts. Not only does this help maintain our professional standards, but it also facilitates smoother communication with our guests. The t-shirt is only to be worn on shifts.
• Greeting guests: When you are wearing the staff t-shirt, please greet all guests with good morning, good afternon or good evening (according to what time of day it is). Always be welcoming and smiling towards guests when you are representing Danhostel Aarhus City.
• Leaving t-shirts for washing: To streamline our laundry process and ensure the availability of clean uniforms for everyone, please leave your staff t-shirt at the hostel for washing after each shift.
• Admin: The t-shirts are located behind Lilians desk, behind the curtain. When you arrive at work, please collect a t-shirt from here. Once your shift has ended, place the t-shirt in the dedicated basket on 5th floor.

Remember, our new staff t-shirts are more than just garments – they’re symbols of our commitment to our teamwork.
