You are welcome to rent our cozy café-room, if you need a venue for a day course, workshop, presentation, reception, mini-conference or corporate event. Our service minded staff will help you during the day, and we will be happy to serve you brunch, lunch, coffee, cake, fruit, dinner, etc. You can also choose to bring your own food or beverage. Dining at our hostel
At Danhostel Aarhus City you will not go to bed hungry. We offer a delicious breakfast buffet for 69 dkk per person incl. freshly baked organic bread, meat sausages, marmalade, cheese, Nutella, fruit and vegetables, milk, yogurt, juice, muesli, oatmeal, cornflakes and lovely coffee and tea. Group arrival and departure
Check in from 14.00 pm on the day of arrival. Please remember to announce your arrival time in advance so we can be ready to welcome you. Our staff will provide you with information on the practicalities, how the hostel and its facilities work, and so on. We can store your luggage if you arrive before 14.00 pm.
Check out before 11.00 am on the day of departure. If you first have to leave Aarhus later during the day, luggage storage can be arranged. You can either choose to extend your check-out time to 13.00 pm for 200 dkk.
School camps
A lot of school classes visit Danhostel Aarhus City. Our hostel is located in the very heart of Aarhus, with a short walking distance to the main train and bus station, and to all the famous city attractions. We can help with all your meals and you can borrow our cozy rooftop café during the day for group work, presentations, workshops and more. If you want, we can also organise take-away meals. This will save you time and money while sightseeing.
Highschool groups
Many high school classes choose to stay at Danhostel Aarhus City, as we have a unique facility to host larger groups on their own floor – with students in dormitories, and teachers in adjoining private rooms. At the same time, the group has access to new bathroom and toilet facilities. We offer full catering and we can organize take-away lunch-packs for you, which will allow you to spend more time sightseeing. Furthermore, you are more than welcome to use our cozy rooftop café during the day for group work, presentations, workshops, movie nights, and more.
Sports clubs
Danhostel Aarhus City offers budget-friendly accommodation for sports clubs visiting Aarhus. We will do everything possible in order to ensure that you will have the best time while in Aarhus, and we can assist you with transportation, dining, storage of equipment, etc. Please tell us if you need special dining times, or special requirements for the menu. Early breakfast and late dinner can be arranged to suit your program. Our key card system allows you to access our hostel 24 hours per day. We are always open to meet your specific needs!
