Sustainability
Focus on sustainability
As one of the first in the hostel industry, Danhostel is now actively engaged in their commitment and work with the UN’s global goals. The chain has initiated a major management plan, and the concrete work on the UN-goals has started at the individual hostels around the country. One of the key elements of the chain’s work with world goals is a manifesto, which reflecting the chain’s own values of community and social responsibility between people. The manifesto will form the basis for working with world goals both nationally and locally. Danhostel Aarhus City works actively to support the UN Sustainable Development Goals.

By creating strong, local storytelling and attractiveness where our common values and resources are maintained, our guests get unique local experiences. At the same time, we ensure a greater mutual understanding of people’s background and diversity.
